There is also Susano Onomikoto in the Shintai of Namba Yasaka Shrine. Susano Onomikoto has appeared in Kojiki and Nihon Shoki, and is considered to be the three gods along with Amaterasu Omikami and Tsukuyomi no Mikoto. Speaking of Susano Onomikoto, it is well known for bravely defeating a huge monster called Yamata no Orochi.

And it is said that the gods include warding off evil, prospering business, and eliminating illness.

"Mutsu" was a battleship of the former Japanese Navy, and Mutsu was equipped with the world's second largest gun, a caliber of 41 cm. The main gun lid of the battleship Mutsu is enshrined at "Namba Yasaka Shrine" to memorialize the souls of 1021 people including Colonel Teruhisa Miyoshi, who shared the fate with the battleship Mutsu, and pray for peace. By the way, the world's largest gun was the battleship Yamato, which had a 46 cm caliber.

The main shrine of Namba Yasaka Shrine is greeted by a lion's head with a big mouth open. The Shishiden, completed in 1974, is 12 meters high and 11 meters wide, giving it plenty of power. Moreover, since the lion's eyes are lights and the nose is a speaker, it is also a stage where Kagura is dedicated in the New Year and lion dances and various performing arts are dedicated in the summer, and Susano Onomikoto is enshrined inside.

Namba Yasaka Shrine's Omikuji, which has the benefit of marriage, is popular for its love fortune in a cute carp-shaped figurine for 300 yen. The contents of the Omikuji are written in great detail about the people who are compatible with each other, so there is no doubt that girls will get excited. In addition, there are many unique and cute Omikuji such as sea bream-shaped, folding fans, and Daruma-shaped Omikuji for a price of 200 to 500 yen.

If you visit Namba Yasaka Shrine by car, it is a short distance from Motomachi 3-chome North on Route 26, but there is no private parking lot, and most of the surrounding areas are residential areas and buildings, so access by train is recommended. It is about a 6-minute walk from Nankai Namba Station or Osaka Metro Namba Station. It is rarely crowded on weekdays, but it can be quite crowded on weekends, during the New Year holidays, and during festivals.

This shrine is visited by many worshipers from all over the country in anticipation of benefits such as business prosperity and academic improvement. Moreover, the temple of the lion's head, which is a symbolic existence, is also popular as a photogenic spot, and many tourists from overseas visit. It's easy to access by train, so you can easily visit there if you're sightseeing in Osaka.
