Yakitori restaurant Torikizoku 鳥貴族 Toriki All item 327 Yen(tax included)
Yakitori is a must if you are interested in sampling the local food! For those of you that don’t know, Yakitori is usually prepared by skewering 5 to 6 pieces of bite-sized chicken meat then grilling it directly over an open fire. There are varying parts of the chicken and styles to try, so it is well worth visiting one of the thousands of shops during your trip.
Let me introduce my favorite Yakitori restaurant TORIKIZOKU(鳥貴族). Torikizoku is probably one of the most famous cheap eat chains in Japan. TORIKIZOKU has more than 600 branches around Tokyo and Osaka and most branches located nearby the station.
There are varying levels of Yakitori shops, from the expensive to the ultra-cheap, with the best (in my humble opinion) being Torikizoku.
They offer all food items and beverages for 327 yen (tax included). We can eat all dishes safely because on top of affordable prices, they use domestically produced chicken, vegetables and so on.
Cabbage is also 327 yen (tax included) and includes free refills. Even if you are a group only 327 yen (tax included) is charged the bill of the group for the cabbage.
For example, there are 4 persons in your group. All people can eat a cabbage and get refills for the 327 yen (tax included). You don't need to pay 1,308 yen. However, only 1 dish of cabbage is served to the group at each refill.
There are many parts of the chicken to try from the standard cuts of mune (breast) and momo (thigh) to the more adventurous offerings of kawa (skin), nankotsu (chicken cartilage) and all kinds of innards such as heart and liver, etc.
◆ These are the best 5 dishes for must-eat at Torikizoku.
1st Momo Kizoku Yaki (Tare) もも貴族焼(たれ)Grilled Chicken Thigh and White Leek (Barbecue Sauce)
2nd Sunazuri-shio (Sunagimo) 砂ずり (砂肝)
Chicken Gizzard with Salt
This chewiness is good. it is firm but has rich taste.
3rd Sankaku-shio (Bonjiri) 三角(ぼんじり)
Chicken Tail with Salt
This is fatty meat.
4th Yagen Nankotsu-Shio やげんなんこつ (塩)
Chicken Cartilage and Breast (Salt)
5th Tori Kamameshi とり釜飯
This dish has rice, a bit of chicken and other things. It is cooked in a small traditional pot. It will be served with a portable stove with a piece of solid fuel, while it's still boiling. It will take 30 minutes, do not open the lid during this process.
After the solid fuel runs out, then steam it for a few minutes and finally you can eat it.
◆ All-you-can-eat and drink
If your party is more than four members, I intensely recommend "TORIKI BANSANKAI" because all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink within 2hours. It' amazing price 2,980 Yen (tax excluded) but you have to make a reservation.

● It requires at least 4 people.
● Reservations must be made one day beforehand by phone.
● Almost all the foods and drinks on the main menu are available.
● The allocated time per session is 2 hours. Please kindly leave if your time is up so the restaurant can accommodate the other customers.
● Some selected dishes by the restaurant will be served upon your arrival. After enjoying these, you may order what you wish. The number and type of starting dishes depends on the number of your group members and the restaurant's choice.
● The last order for all food and drinks is 20 minutes before the 2 hour session ends. (60 minutes before: Tori Kamameshi とり釜飯)
● There will be additional charges for any leftover food.
● No Outside Food and Beverage Allowed
● Taking out the leftover food is not allowed.
● If you are late for 15 minutes, your reservation will be canceled.
● If you cancel on the day of the scheduled service, there will be a cancellation fee. (50%)
